About Me I started birding in June 2005. Birding mostly in South Africa. I have so far managed to see 694 different bird species. I started photographing the birds mainly for identification purposes ,but found photographing birds so rewarding that i now also keep a bird photograph record. There are currently 330 bird species photos in the 5 Bird Galleries. I use a Pentax K10D SLR camera with a 300mm and 500mm Sigma zoom lens. New birds photos are added all the time.
